About

My Background

After a degree in languages from Bristol University, I trained as a warfare officer in the Royal Navy Submarine Service.

After 9 years I re-trained as a solicitor in City Law firm Trowers & Hamlins, and qualified as a property solicitor at Forsters LLP.

I then setup and ran a property development and construction company operating in Kent.

I now provide legal advice to businesses and individuals.

I am fluent in Spanish and French and I enjoy sailing and playing music.

What my clients say

"I have used Francis for legal advise on a number of occasions over the last couple of years and the service, dedication and attention to detail has always exceeded my expectations. The range of expertise and knowledge that he is able to impart given his varied experiences has been of great value when setting up project contracts in the construction sector. Francis is also extremely knowledgeable in advising on the best company set-up options for new ventures and start-ups including NDAs. It has been so refreshing to work with someone who can break down legal jargon into plain English. Francis's fees have always been more than fair and reasonable, his client commitment means is always willing to go the extra mile, and he has always delivered his expertise in a timely manner."

"Francis has been of great help in setting up contract letters between myself and my neighbour for a joint construction project. It was a project for a semi detached house where due to planning constraints we had to build it at the same time in order to comply with the requirements. He put together a contract letter between myself and my neighbour in order to secure the project deadline and set up an escrow account for this to happen smoothly. Francis has an incredible eye for detail and manages to put across these legal intricacies very clearly. I can safely say I felt I could trust Francis with many of my other legal requirements that I will have in the future."
